My opinion

Finally once more a good movie .. one I’ve enjoyed. An entertaining cops-and-robbers movie. The fact that it’s based on true facts makes it even more interesting. I had no idea the UK had such a corrupt police force in the 1970s and that there had been a sex scandal in the royal family with a cover-up operation as a result. If this film wasn’t based on real facts, then it would be a totally implausible film with such coincidences.

The Bank Job

First of all, you’ll enjoy the acting of Jason Statham and Saffron Burrows. The rest of the cast is a colorful company ensuring that the whole film radiates that typical atmosphere of the 70s. Statham for once not in an action-filled film. At times it looked like an old James Bond movie. The story is well put together and entertaining till the end.

The Bank Job

It wasn’t as spectacular as “The Italian Job” but that was pure fiction. In reality, everything is more simple.

My rating 7/10
